IF THIS LIFE IS ALL WE HAVE

IF THIS LIFE IS ALL WE HAVE
If probably men know
That we have one life , one soul
And if in fact it is all we shall know
That we shall have nothing after being a ghost
Then, it would be wrong to clobber a soul
If men truly care

That we breath the same air
And if certainly they shall fear
Judgment that beckons on the last day
Then it is wrong to burn like minds
If men rightly show
That all that seems alive have life
And if in fact it is what we shall show
That life indeed has no other life
Then it is wrong to wish for the end of one's life
I look at men and weep
Touched by their inhuman
Watch how men are killed
and burn like life is so cheap
I wonder how we even get here
As tears freely flow from my eyes
The sun even fail to dry my tears
For life beckons nothing but fear
We all live a life that has no life
And lo, brag around like we have life
No care, no mind for unity
Not even a sign of human pity
And if we know
Truly this life is all we have
And none has more than one
Then! We must die to live the life
